Leave the M4 at Junction 18 signposted A46 Bath. Follow the A46 south all the way to Bath taking care on the dual carriageway section approaching Bath to keep in the left hand lane and follow the signs to Bath. At the main roundabout turn right and follow the A4 into Bath for approximately 1½ miles
Follow the signs for Bristol and Exeter, turning left at the major set of traffic lights just past a row of shops on the left hand side of the road. Follow signs to Bristol and Exeter negotiating a large roundabout and passing under a large railway bridge at a set of traffic lights. We are located approximately ½ mile beyond the railway bridge on a right hand bend on the right hand side of the road.
Driving from the South:
Follow the A36 into Bath. When in Bath follow the signs to Bristol and Exeter. Soon after joining a main road you will negotiate a roundabout and pass under a large railway bridge at a set of traffic lights. We are located approximately ½ mile beyond the railway bridge on a right hand bend on the right hand side of the road.
Driving from Bristol:
Approach Bath on the A4. On the outskirts of Bath is a dual carriageway. Keep right on the main road as you approach the traffic lights at the end of the dual carriageway (do not bear left). Follow the signs to Bath, Chippenham and Calne. After approximately 2 miles you will go across a large roundabout. Continue to follow the signs to Chippenham and Calne until you reach the give way sign alongside the railway arches and the Churchill Bridge. Go straight across the give way sign, passing the river bridge on your left, keeping left as you go under the railway arch. After you pass under the railway arch follow the road to Chippenham and Calne but get over to the right hand side of the road. After approximately ½ mile the road divides. Keep in the right hand lane joining traffic from the London direction. We are on the right hand bend just after you have joined the flow of traffic on the right hand side of the road.
Car Parking:
There is very limited street parking around the church with very little in the church car park. We have facilities for parking at a local school (Widcombe Junior School) on Sundays. The location of the school in relation to the church is shown on this map. As part of our agreement with the Junior School we need to lock the car park at a reasonable time after the services. This will be done at 13.30 and 21.30 each Sunday so if you need to leave your car for longer please move it out of the car park before this time. This will allow the car park to be locked without worrying if we’ve locked anyone in.
